Short abstract
NZEMIX will contribute to the assessment of possible net-zero energy mix pathways in West Africa, through a modular decision support framework combining existing models for social-environmental drivers, energy supply and end-using sectors, for supporting energy policy development in the region.
Structuration
NZEMIX is articulated around 3 Work Packages led by young researchers.
- WP1 - Elaborating a net-zero modelling set for West Africa
Lead : Benjamin Pillot (PI), Romain Authier (co-PI) - WP2 - Bring together a forcing framework and a Network of Models (NSM)
Lead : Amira Mouakher (PI), Benjamin Pillot (co-PI) - WP3 - From sub-national and country-based scenarios to regional pathways
Lead : Audrey Brouillet (PI), Benjamin Pillot (co-PI)
